Where are we located?
We are located in Bridgeport, California, right in the heart of the Eastern Sierra. Our address is 85 Twin Lakes Road, but sometimes google maps misguides you a little bit. To find us you will turn on to Twin Lakes Road from HWY 395 and follow it for 7 miles and turn right onto Buckeye Road. You will see our main lodge to the right.
When are we open?
Our open season is from the end of April (fishing opener) to October 31st every year.
Is Doc and Al’s pet friendly?
Hunewill’s Doc and Al’s is pet friendly. We have a pet waiver that will need to be signed and a strict pet policy to follow. But if you clean up after your pet, using the many pet stations we have placed around the property and follow the pet rules, we are happy to have your 4 legged friends join you. 2 pet limit per site. Pet fee= $10 per pet per night.
Do we allow charging of electric vehicles?
In consideration of our energy management practices and to maintain operational efficiency, guests are requested not to charge electric vehicles on the property. Charging stations are conveniently located in the town of Bridgeport. Your cooperation in observing this policy is greatly appreciated.
Generally, how do I make a reservation?
To allow guests to keep the tradition of coming to Doc and Als every year, all guests have the opportunity to book their cabin or campsite for the following year. They must do this when they check out. All sites that have not been reserved will open up on our online booking engine at a later date (TBD).
What is the cancellation policy?
Deposit refund, less a 25% cancellation fee per required deposit will be made if at least 30 day notice is given. No refund if cancellation is made with less than 30 days notice to us. Guests concerned with loss of deposit should purchase trip insurance.
